A pastor has been arrested for deceiving his congregation.
Valdeci Sobrino Picanto is a Brazilian Evangelical Pastor. He has been
arrested after deceiving the faithful using the name of the "Holy Spirit",
by saying foolish lies.
He said his p**is was blessed and that "the Lord had consecrated him
with divine milk of the ''Holy Spirit" and, of course, he had to release it in
order to "evangelize".
One of the victim said, "he has convinced us that only God could come
into our lives through our mouth and that's why he would do what he did".
Often, after worship, pastor Valdeci would take us to where the funds
were kept at the back of the Church and asked us to have Oral s*x with
him until the Holy Spirit would come through ejaculation".
The pastor is already in jail, but said he intends to continue watering his
cellmates with his sacred milk.

Cops: Boy, 16, shot by robbers In Chicago demanding bike

A 16-year-old boy shot during a West Englewood robbery was one of
at least 6 people shot Tuesday evening into this morning, according
to police.
About 7:53 p.m., several male assailants approached the 16-year-old
as he rode his bike down the 1800 block of West 71st Street, said
Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.
The group demanded the boy's bicycle, and when he tried to ride
away, someone pulled out a gun and fired several times, Zala said.
The teen sustained gunshot wounds to the thigh and buttocks and
was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where
his condition was stabilized.
The males fled with the bicycle and have not been taken into
custody.
In the most recent shooting, a man believed to be in his 30s was
shot in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.
The man was shot about 1 a.m. in the 0-100 block of South Kostner
Avenue, News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in
serious condition.
About 10 p.m., a 35-year-old man was shot in the 2900 block of East
89th Street, police said.
The man was shot in the arm and taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital,
where he was listed in good condition.
About the same time, a 28-year-old man was wounded in a drive-by
shooting in the Englewood neighborhood.
Someone opened fire from a black sedan as the man was standing on
the sidewalk, striking the man in the foot, Alfaro said.
An acquaintance tok the man to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was
listed in good condition.
About two hours earlier in the the Rogers Park neighborhood, a 20-
year-old man was shot about 8:05 p.m. in the 7200 block of North
Sheridan Road.
The man was struck in the shoulder and both legs and taken to St.
Francis Hospital in Evanston, where his condition was stabilized.
About 7:30 p.m., a 28-year-old man was shot in the leg in the 3500
block of S. Vincennes Avenue. He was taken to Mercy Hospital, where
his condition was stabilized.

Pastor ’s Wife Caught Husband Cheating With Female Prayer Partner In Bedroom

Mrs Rebecca Bamidele, the wife of one Pastor Israel Bamidele recently told a
Customary court in Lagos how she caught husband engaging in adult act with
a female prayer partner in their bedroom overnight.
She claims the act crashed their 15-year-old marriage.
Mrs Rebecca further said her hubby a school proprietor and a full-time
pastor who filed the divorce petition against her falsely accused her of
infidelity.
“ It was Bamidele who brought his female prayer partner to his bedroom for
prayers.
“I was surprised that my husband locked his prayer partner, wife of another
man, in his bedroom overnight. The act not only led to cracks in our marriage
but it also led to the break up in the female prayer partner’s home because
after I had left him, people were still seeing my husband and the woman
together.
“Her husband eventually sent her packing from her matrimonial home, ”
Rebecca disclosed.
Pastor Israel Bamidele eventually files for divorce over frequent fighting and
lack of care from Rebecca. He claims he is no longer in love with the mother
of his 3 children.
According to PM report, when asked the position of her husband’s family on
the crisis that engulfed their relationship, Rebecca said she once travelled to
Osun State in southwest Nigeria to meet her mother-in-law but the old
woman said she should allow her husband marry another wife because her
father-in-law, who is a prophet, married three wives, adding, “when I
returned to Lagos, my husband quarrelled with me, saying why should I go to
his homestead in Osun State to inform his mother about issues in our
marriage in our Lagos home?”
Apart from the issue of hosting his prayer partner in his bedroom, Rebecca
alleged that she caught the pastor sleeping with his school secretary for
about a week but she could not complain because her husband would beat
her silly.
She said, “anytime I complain, my husband will say I was becoming too
stubborn for him. He would say in Yoruba, ‘ila ti n ga ju onire lo’, meaning,
the okro plant was becoming taller than the farmer.”
Their case has been adjourned till August 27, 2013 for judgement.

ASUU Says They Are Not Calling Off Strike This Week!

ACADEMIC Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has described as
speculative reportsthat the strike embarked upon by the union over the
inability ofthe Federal Government to implement the 2009 agreement it
willingly enteredinto with the union would be called off this Thursday.
National President of ASUU, Dr. Nasir Fagge, told Vanguard that he was
surprisedto hear that the union was going to call off the strike on
Thursday when the issues tabled before government had not been
resolved. Faggae said: “There is nothing like that (suspending the
strike).I am alsosurprised to hear people say that we are going to call off
the strike. He said: “Our members have made it categorically clear what
they want. This meeting we hadwith government on Friday at the office of
the Secretary to theGovernment of the Federation, SGF, is just
exploratory. “We are trying to look at issues holistically and seehow we
are going to address them. So assignments were given to various people
that attended the meeting and the expectation is that we will meet
tomorrow (today), Monday and look at the assignment given and also
look at it on Thursday again. “So, that is why I’m surprised tohear people
say thatwe are going to suspend strike on Thursday. The mandate of our
members is very clear. So, we will wait and see what the Monday and
Thursday meetingsunfold and then we report backto our members.”
Onhow long it would take ASUU leaders to convene a meeting with its
members after the meeting with government on Thursday, the ASUU boss
said “we are in constant consultationwith our members,we don’t really
have problems with that. “After the meeting, we will decide when to link
up with ourmembers depending upon what is placed on table on
Thursday.” Commenting on the speculation that the union might suspend
the strike if the government metup to 50 per cent of the agreement,
Faggae said the union would prefer to get to the bridge before crossing it.
He commended the positive disposition of the Joint Senate and House of
Representatives Committee on Education towards the resolution of the
crisis. Fagge added: “For us, the interaction we have had with the Joint
Committee clearly indicates that they are concerned like other
Nigerians”. “This is expected of the representatives of people. You see
the problem has always been that the executive arm of government does
not really hearken to advise that are givenon how best to address the
problems on education in this country. “We are convinced as a union that
the only thing the government can really do forNigerians is to avail them
of education. “Once you are able todo that, you will see that people will
be able to generate jobs andthey will be able to take care of themselves
and contribute to nation building. So that is the argument we are placing
on thetable.”

31 Migrants Drowned Off Libyan Coast, Nigerians Among Survivors

Thirty-one migrants, including nine women, drowned off the coast of
Libya during an attempted crossing to Italy according to survivors who
managed to complete the journey, Italian media reported Sunday.
A dinghy carrying 53 migrants capsized on Friday evening, and
witnesses said 31 of those who had been thrown off it drowned in the
accident.
The twenty-two survivors, who come from Nigeria, Gambia, Benin and
Senegal, said the dinghy had capsized after three days at sea. They
were rescued by a passing merchant ship and taken to Lampedusa
island, the reports said.
As the number of boat immigrants attempting the crossing soars in the
good weather, rescuers saved another 450 people trying to reach Italy on
Friday and Saturday, increasing tensions at the already crowded refugee
centre on the island.
Another 92 migrants — including 16 women — were rescued Sunday
morning in the Strait of Sicily after their boat got into difficulty.
Since 1999, more than 200,000 people have arrived on Lampedusa —
which is closer to North Africa than Italy — making it, along with the
Greece-Turkey border, one of the biggest gateways for undocumented
migrants and refugees into the European Union.
In nearby Malta, 112 migrants were saved from their drifting dinghy
overnight Saturday in a 13-hour operation during which eight of those
rescued were airlifted to hospital by helicopter for urgent medical
attention.
That group — which included 20 women and four children — was
suffering from exhaustion, dehydration and sun stroke, a Maltese army
spokesman told AFP.
The latest arrivals bring the number of migrants to land on Malta in July
to 880 — an all-time record for a month — while 1,200 people in total

Bird Turns Into A Witch Woman In Lagos State, Nigeria ( Picture)

On Thursday the 25th of July , 2013, the area residents of Okokomaiko in
Lagos state Nigeria experienced a real life spiritual transformation involving
a bird and a woman .
According to eyewitnesses, three large birds were spotted over the sky on
Afromedia st in the early hours of Thursday.
Few minutes later, one of the birds fell and landed in water.
To everyone’s surprise, the bird that fell into the water suddenly changed
into an aged woman pictured above.

According to another eye-witness, police officers were called in after the
strange spiritual transformation and the woman was taken into custody.
While she was being interrogated on the spot, she confessed she is from
Ikole town in Ekiti State and that they’re coming from a meeting when
something suddenly hit her.
She was on a stand-still for several minutes before landing into a pool of
water.
As we speak, the fate of the alleged witch woman is still unknown.

Woman Sells Her Baby For N100 , 000 In Imo State “I Bought The Baby In Owerri ” – Suspect

Imo State police officials are now investigating how a 27 year old housewife,
Mrs Njideka Okorie eloped with six months pregnancy and went into hiding
where she was later delivered of a baby girl which she sold to one Agatha
Okoronkwo for N100,000.
Saturday Sun gathered that Njideka has been married to Samuel Okorie , for
over 10 years. The marriage was already blessed with four children while
they were expecting the fifth child, the wife eloped with six months
pregnancy from their home in Orlu, Imo State.
The housewife also fled her matrimonial home with the other four children
in March and returned four months after, precisely on July 5, 2013, with the
four kids, but without the pregnancy of their fifth child.
It was learnt that the inability of Njideka to explain what happened to their
baby led the husband to lodge a complaint against her at the Orlu police
station.
While confirming the development, the Imo State Commissioner of Police, Mr
Mohammed Katsina told Saturday Sun that ,” I have to send my ‘Police
Ambush Squad’ to arrest Njideka Okorie and she confessed that she
delivered the baby on June 27, 2013 but that she sold it for N100,000 to one
Agatha
Okoronkwo . She said the child is a female and was sold when she was three
weeks old.”The police boss stated that the police detectives travelled to
Isieka Ihiala in
Anambra State to arrest the suspect, Agatha Okoronkwo , a civil servant who
allegedly bought the three-week old child.
The complainant, Samuel Okorie told Saturday Sun that,” I was shocked that
before I came to the house, my wife has eloped with my four children and my
six months old pregnancy she has for me.” He added that “suddenly, she
appeared again after two months . She came with my four children . But I
didn’t see the pregnancy again and there was no baby. I was not happy and
reported the case to Orlu police station.”
Okorie explained that, “ It was when my wife was arrested by the police that
she confessed to have sold a-three week old baby for N100,000 to a woman
in Ihiala in Anambra State. Thank God that the police recovered the baby.”
“I didn’t quarrel or have any misunderstanding with her. We were living
together in peace. I was surprised that my wife left the house suddenly “, he
added. In her confessions on why she sold her baby, Njideka said “ It was the
work of the devil. I have never had any misunderstanding with my husband .
I just left suddenly and I went to deliver the baby and later sold it for
N100,000. I delivered the baby and sold it after three weeks.
“I came back to my husband’s house and with his four children and he asked
me about the pregnancy but I didn’t say anything. He later went to report the
matter to the police and I was arrested. It was then that I confessed that I
sold the child for N100,000. The police followed me to my father’s house and
they recovered N78,000 out of the N100,000 I received from the sale of the
child.”
In her own explanation, Agatha Okoronkwo stated that “ It was when she
(Njideka) contacted me and I needed a child. I work at the Red Cross
Organization. I bought the child for N100,000. I needed a baby and bought
the three-week old baby from her in Owerri..”
The state police commissioner said his command had recovered the baby
and handed her over to a rehabilitation home. He said the suspects will soon
be charged to court after thorough investigation.

After 9 months of pregnancy, all she could do is to sell her innocent baby
girl.

“Seeing Kate leaving the hospital as though she is almost six months
pregnant is not unusual,” said Dr. Douglas M. Black, an obstetrics and
gynecological specialist in Ottawa and past president of the Society of
Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada.
"A woman will generally gain about 16 kilograms during her pregnancy
and will lose about seven kg during birth. However, the uterus has
grown and stretched. It takes about three to four weeks for it to return
to its pre pregnancy shape and size, This is what makes a woman look
as though she is still pregnant after giving birth."

Two Lions Escape From University Of Ibadan's Zoo

The authorities of the University of Ibadan has confirmed that two lions
from the school zoo escaped from their cages this morning. Dr Fakayode
of the Anthropology department sighted the animals on Tech road and
reported to the school securities. So if you stay close to the school, try
and keep watch of let me just say if you stay in Ibadan. cos we are
talking of Lions here .... Hoping the Oyo state government should take
immediate measures in re capturing the hyper dangerous animals. More
